Rx-Safety offers a 1-year warranty on the scratch-resistant coating of our lenses against manufacturing defects. However, it's important to note that the warranty does not guarantee that the lenses will not scratch.
While the scratch-resistant coating provides an extra layer of durability and protection against scratching, it may still be susceptible to scratching in certain circumstances. Rough handling, contact with abrasive surfaces, or improper cleaning methods can damage the coating.
We recommend that you take care of your glasses to ensure the risk of scratches. Here are some tips:
- Please store your glasses in a protective case when not in use to prevent them from coming into contact with other objects.
- Avoid placing your glasses face-down on hard surfaces, as this increases the chances of scratches.
- Clean your glasses with a soft microfiber cloth or lens-cleaning solution specifically designed for eyewear. Avoid using rough materials or household cleaners that may damage the coating.
- Rinse your glasses under lukewarm water before cleaning to remove any debris or particles that could cause scratches during the cleaning process.
By following these guidelines and treating your glasses with care, you can help maintain the integrity of the scratch-resistant coating and prolong the life of your lenses.
